Annual General Meeting 2025 Building Our Future, Together It?s that time again ? when we gather as a Chamber community to reflect, reconnect, and look ahead to another exciting year in Cowichan. Join us for our 2025 Annual General Meeting as we celebrate the milestones of the past year, welcome new and returning Directors, and share ideas for the year to come. We?re delighted to welcome Renée Olson, CPM, MBA, Interim CEO of Khowutzun Development Corporation, as our guest speaker. Renée is known for her optimism, leadership, and ability to bring people together around shared goals. She works closely with Quw?utsun Citizens to support their businesses and projects, building stronger partnerships across the region. A champion for women in trades and former Education Director of the Women in Construction (WiC) Victoria Chapter, Renée brings a unique mix of private-sector insight and community spirit to every conversation. What to Expect Enjoy a delicious appetizer buffet from Vancouver Island Event Catering, topped off with desserts from Duncan Garage Café & Bakery. A cash bar will be available. Members in good standing will elect or acclaim the 2025 Board of Directors. Please ensure your membership is current to participate in voting. We?re also collecting non-food donations and cash for the Toys, Toiletries & Toques initiative ? a simple way to bring comfort and care to local families this holiday season. Chamber Christmas Breakfast 2025

The season is calling, and we are kicking it off with one of our favourite Chamber traditions. Join us on Friday, December 12, from 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM at the Cowichan Regional Visitor Centre for a cheerful morning of festive flavours, good company, and holiday fun. We will start things off with the famous eggnog cinnamon buns from Old Town Bakery, along with other holiday treats and fresh hot coffee. It is cozy, comforting, and the perfect way to ease into the season with fellow members. And yes, we are keeping the friendly competition alive. This year, we are trading microphones for bingo cards and letting the Christmas playlist take the spotlight with a game of Music Bingo! Hear a song you recognize, mark your square, and see if you can snag a win. It is simple, playful, and adds a festive spark to the morning. Whether you come for the food, the music, or the warm holiday atmosphere, this breakfast is a chance to gather, connect, and share some seasonal cheer before the year winds down. After Black Friday and Cyber Monday comes GivingTuesday, a day that encourages people to do good.
