Greening Your Business | Vancouver Island Green Business Collective | Lunch N Learn

We are delighted to welcome Liz Maze from Vancouver Island Green Business Collective (VIGBC) for a Greening Your Business workshop!

Learn how your business can lower its carbon footprint, increase employee engagement, and tap into potential cost savings by making simple, green changes. Whether you’re new to the concept of a green or ready for green certification, join us for tips that make an impact!

This Lunch N Learn will be held at Sands Funeral Chapel, parking and entrance of Ypres Street.  Bring your own lunch, coffee and tea available at the venue.  Free for Chamber Members, $5 cash-at-door for Non-Members.

About Liz Maze: For over two years Liz Maze has been the Program Manager for the Vancouver Island Green Business Collective.  Liz works closely with a variety of small to medium sized businesses across Vancouver Island with a particular focus on office, restaurant, spas and salons, and retail based businesses.  She is a gregarious community connector, who actively seeks to bring people together to create a bigger impact.

VIGBC was built to recognize the efforts of local businesses that are reducing their environmental impact.  For businesses, it is a guide to greening your operations and educating your staff.  For consumers, it is a symbol that lets you know which businesses have green practices.  Together, we can lead by example and protect our natural environment while promoting our local economy.
