DESCRIPTION:Paint Nite is "cross-chamber" fun and networking brought to you by the Duncan Cowichan Chamber and the Chemainus & District Chamber of Commerce.\n\n\n\nCreativity is on tap with our Chambers' Paint Nite at the Sawmill TapHouse on Nov. 2/17.\n\n\n\nPaint Nite is an art class and networking party rolled into one. A master artist walks everyone through creating a beautiful piece of artwork step-by-step. Paint Nite provides all the supplies\, including a handy apron to protect you from spatters. Even so\, we recommend casual clothes just in case a stray drop or two misses your apron! (Acrylic paints stain.)\n\n\n\nYou can enjoy beverages and food from the Sawmill's menu. Sip and paint\, and go home with your finished masterpiece.\n\nRegistration is via the Paint Nite Registration Page\n\nScroll down to see a personal invitation from The Chamber Ladies of the Duncan Cowichan & Chemainus Chambers :)\n\n\n \n \n \n \n\n \n \n \n\n\nAbout Our Paint Nite Master Painter: Kim Newns: Passionate\, playful\, and radiating with a colourful zeal of energy and flow. I seek out the natural focal points\, patterns\, and guidelines to lead the viewer's eye. FUN is my personal mantra. This means not taking everything so seriously. While painting\, I trust Bob Ross: "There are no mistakes\, only happy accidents". Acrylic paint is very forgiving and we can touch anything up once dry\, or let it become part of the painting!\n\nPainting with music on is a MUST! It helps us relax our minds and I will encourage you to paint in beat with whatever is on. I am also known to dance while I paint :) I look forward to being your CFO\, that is Chief Fun Officer at your next Paint Nite adventure!
