DESCRIPTION:Formerly the 'Hike for Hospice'\, A Walk to Remember is an opportunity to gather as a community and enjoy the warmth of a hospice gathering in support of Hospice care for Cowichan. Come out with friends and family to walk in memory of a loved one\, or simply to enjoy the fresh air and scenery. Enjoy a beautiful 1 or 3 kilometer walk through the forest and a stroll through the labyrinth at Providence Farm. The Walk is by donation and light refreshments will be available. Registration starts at 10:00 AM Walk will begin at 11:00 AM Post-walk refreshments and snacks will be available. Pledge collecting is not required\, as the event is by donation. However\, those who wish to continue collecting pledges can contact mackenzie.cvhs@shaw.ca for a pledge sheet.
