Small Business Showcase - Show & Shred

Join the Duncan Cowichan Chamber of Commerce and celebrate Small Business Week at the Chamber’s Business Showcase, Wed. Oct. 23 at the Duncan Travelodge. Approximately 40 businesses will show and sell their products and services, plus share their expertise in the presentation area. The Island Document Storage & Shredding truck will be there, accepting shredding by donation. Proceeds go to the Chamber. Catch the pulse of region’s business landscape, and bring along your old records and paper recycling for shredding and secure disposal.
Media sponsors Cowichan News Leader Pictorial and SunFM 89.7 are promoting the show in print and on air. The Chamber eNews will carry promotions and updates on the Show & Shred weekly; the eNews goes to 690 qualified business and professional recipients. There will be ongoing social media promotion via twitter (700 followers) and Facebook. The Show will be directly marketed to business associations: BNI, Meet Your Neighbour, Young Professionals of Cowichan, Duncan Downtown Business Improvement Association and the Chamber’s VIP list. We’re delighted to welcome 89.7 SunFM’s Troy Scott, broadcasting live on location from 3:00 – 6:00 pm. The event will be posted to boards throughout the community.
