MAPLE BAY, VANCOUVER ISLAND – The Mariners Market & Espresso Bar at Maple Bay Marina is featuring a Seaside Holiday Shopping and Coffee Date on the tenth day of December. Holiday shoppers will receive complimentary coffee between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm on Sunday, December 10th.  Attendees, who make a retail purchase, are also eligible to enter to win a prize draw on a gift package prepared especially for the event. The Mariners Market features a wide variety of locally crafted distinctive gift items for the holiday season. Art work ranges from collage stained glass, jewellery, carvings, paintings, and knitting to quilting, pottery, turned wood, and children’s clothes. On display now, and available for sale, are exquisite hand painted wine glasses and sumptuous paintings of gourmet delight by Margaret Hogg, along with nautical paintings by Christina Morrison and Rena Parsey. More delights await shoppers such as; adorable ties and vests for the little ones handmade by Heidi M, delightful children’s clothes by Momijo, beautiful bowls of all shapes by woodturning Doug Kay, one of kind stained glass mosaics stones by Shattered and In Pane, vintage copper and silver plates transformed into stunning pieces of wearable art by Mixed Metal Mimi Jewellery, masterfully crafted toques using the finest wool and silk yarns by Alex Williams, and more.
