Susan Down runs an online news website for the Cowichan Valley called Local News Eye. A newspaper veteran, she was a popular feature writer and columnist at the Times Colonist before working as managing director of dailies for Newspapers Canada. She has been a regular contributor to the National Post and the Toronto Star. She also handled media relations for Royal Roads University.
