Somenos Marsh is a natural Cowichan treasure. Bursting with life, it's one of North America's busiest avian flyways and a rare refuge for wetlands creatures and plants. Attend and become acquainted with this very special place, its complexity, trails, beauty, birds and more. Plus, our presenter Phil Jennings will give us a preview of this year’s Wild Wings Festival. We remain optimistic about sunny weather in September – Still, this is a rain or shine event in the outdoor classroom, just a few steps from parking. We'll be on boardwalks and raised paths which are puddle-free and suitable for most footwear.
