Kristi Fairholm-Mader, Social Enterprise Catalyst | Speaker Series Luncheon
THIS SESSION IS SOLD OUT. You can still register for the waitlist and we will conact you when/if a space becomes available.
The Chamber, together with Coastal Community Credit Union, is delighted to welcome Kristi Fairholm-Mader as our guest speaker for April's Speaker Series Luncheon. Kirsti is a Co-Founding Director of Scale Collaborative and a Partner with Social Enterprise Catalyst.
The non profit sector is shifting. The nature of funding has changed and at the same time, issues are becoming more complex and needs are increasing-- 'doing more with less' is not a tenable way to build strong organizations that can create impact. Kristi will speak about the need for financial diversification and the importance of building enterprising revenue streams: social enterprise, social ventures, performing assets and win-win corporate partnerships.
The Luncheon will begin at 11:30 am with an opportunity to network, coffee and tea provided. The presentation will begin promptly at 12:00 pm. Advance bookings are required. You can purchase your tickets online by clicking the "REGISTER NOW" button at the top of this page or you can contact us at chamber@duncancc.bc.ca or (250) 748-1111 to register over the phone.

Since moving to Vancouver Island in 2011, Kristi has been supporting the growth of the social enterprise sector through collaborative and cross sector approaches, and initiatives such as seCatalyst, Social Venture Bootcamp, Thriving Non Profits and Coastal Communities Social Procurement Initiative. Since 2014, Kristi has been co-Executive Director of Ready to Rent BC, a non profit focused on the prevention of homelessness, scaling it from a local program to national initiative.
