How To Talk To Your Doctor About Medical Cannabis The Lift Resource Centre Patient Workshop in June is a free seminar designed to help Canadians get the most from their use of cannabis for medical purposes. Delivered by Lift Resource Centre Educators and industry guest speakers, patients will gain information from the regulatory system to the use of cannabis as a medicine and how to access it safely in Canada. In this two hour workshop “How To Talk To Your Doctor About Medical Cannabis”, Lift Resource Centre educators will discuss regulatory guidelines for cannabis as a medicine, we'll go over questions your doctor may have, a list of frequently asked questions that you may have, and help you prepare yourself with tools you can provide your doctor to assist in your discussions with them about medical cannabis as a treatment. We'll take a look at the History of Medical Cannabis in Canada and discuss what rights you, as a patient have. This workshop is free to attend and light snacks and refreshments will be available.
