Trees like dawn redwoods, sequoias, gingkos and magnolias were common during the age of dinosaurs, but are relatively rare today. Join curator of palaeontology Dr. Victoria Arbour and curator of botany Dr. Ken Marr for a walk back in time. We’ll look at some fossil samples from the museum collection and talk about how palaeontologists use fossil plants to learn about ancient climates. Wear suitable footwear and be prepared for rain. No dogs, please.
