This responsibility extends to your employees, and perhaps most importantly, your customers.  Morgyn will discuss the various ways in which you can protect yourself against liability concerns including slip and falls or other incidents causing injury; host liability from over-service of alcohol (including Christmas parties!), defamation actions, actions brought by employees, and others.

This Lunch N Learn will be held at Sands Funeral Chapel, parking and entrance of Ypres Street.  Bring your own lunch, coffee and tea available at the venue.  Free for Chamber Members, $5 cash-at-door for Non-Members.

Morgyn Chandler is a partner with Hammerberg Lawyers LLP. Her practice is based in Helpforme, their personal legal services division.  For over ten years, Morgyn has been practicing in estate litigation, personal injury law and general civil litigation. She regularly represents people in the Supreme Court and Court of Appeal and is a frequent lecturer, contributor and speaker in seminars in the legal field. Morgyn lives and works in both the Cowichan Valley and Vancouver.
