We are welcoming fall with open arms this October! On October 21st, our Harvest Dinner Series begins with a special evening inspired by the release of our cognac-style brandy. Join us in the distillery before dinner to hear about the passion and craft that goes into creating these limited release spirits and brandies. Sample a bit of our cognac-style grape brandy before moving into the ciderhouse to enjoy a three course, French-influenced dinner created by our Merridale chefs. Click here to preview the menu. What’s the story of our cognac-style brandy? BC grown grapes picked in 2006, fermented without sulphites and then distilled, twice. Aged 10 years in a new French oak barrel with medium toast at 68% alcohol to optimize flavour extraction and harmonization. Soon to be reduced to 47% using our own cold dilution process to maximize flavour and aroma retention before being bottled for you. BC's first and only ten year old brandy!
