Cowichan Green Community and Canadian Mental Health Association are hosting their second annual Chill Fest on May 7 from 11AM to 3PM at KinPark Youth Urban Farm on Alderlea Street to celebrate Mental Health Awareness week. The purpose of the event is to connect community members with local resources in the Cowichan Region which help rejuvenate individuals to lead positive lifestyles. A variety of community organizations will be present to offer fun self-care activities such as Zumba, yoga, meditation, Tai Chi, and St. John?s Ambulance therapy dogs, to name a few. This is a family friendly event and best of all it is FREE. Bring friends and family to show support towards better mental health - you are not alone.
