Island Time Tours is now offering Cycle the Rail Trails of Cowichan tours, for visitors from Victoria to explore our beautiful Cowichan Valley Trail.

We’ve partnered with Island Time Tours to offer a special evening cycle tour on August 12 as part of our Chamber on Tour #Staycation Excursions.
 
Bring your own bike (or borrow one of the two 7-speed bikes from Island Time Tours) and meet us at the end of Waters Road 5:30 p.m., August 12.  (This is a not the Glenora Trailhead). The Waters Road Trailhead is 1.8 km past Glenora Store, there are a few parking spots in the gravel area.

For an additional $60 plus GST, we also have the option for participants to rent one of two electric bikes from our friends at Cycle Therapy.  These are first come, first serve, so please contact the Chamber ASAP if you'd like to book one.
 
Here we will access the Cowichan Valley Trail and we will cycle 10 km to Kinsol Trestle, where we will enjoy a gourmet picnic dinner and refreshments.
 
We will cycle back to the Waters Road Trailhead, returning just before sunset at approximately 9 p.m.
 
This tour is designed for novice riders but all skill levels welcome. The trail is flat with no hills and suitable for both trail bikes and ebikes. Open to all and family members welcome.

Cost: $65 per person, plus gst and booking fee
Includes: Cycle tour, bike if borrowing one from Island Tours, gourmet picnic, and great conversation!
 
Booking: If you would like to use one of the 2 loaner bikes, please contact the Chamber, so we can coordinate with Island Time Tours. These are on a first-come first-served basis, and will book fast.
