Cannabis in the Workplace with Jon Pascoe | Lunch N Learn
Bill C-45 "The Cannabis Act" soon comes into effect. A June 2018 Conference Board of Canada report notes that 85% of employers are concerned about the implications for the workplace, and a majority do not have updated HR policies.
Jon Pascoe, Pascoe Management Consulting, will cut through the speculation and provide you with facts regarding the changes that will take place on October 17th, 2018. Find out what the implications are for employers and employees with respect to "disability and the duty to accommodate" and learn how employers should respond to employees that may be impaired by cannabis, other drugs and alcohol.
