As part of this year's Mental Health Week, centred on the theme A Call to be Kind, the Duncan Cowichan Chamber of Commerce is honoured to host a special edition of our Speaker Series Luncheon. This event is in collaboration with the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) Cowichan Valley Branch, an advocate for mental health and wellness in our community. Join us on May 8th at the Best Western Cowichan Valley Inn for an empowering afternoon dedicated to the healing power of compassion.

This year, Mental Health Week invites us to explore the theme A Call to be Kind, emphasizing compassion as a cornerstone of our shared humanity and a key to overcoming suffering. Our luncheon on May 8th aims to bring this theme to life by highlighting how kindness and compassion connect and uplift us, especially in challenging times.
