DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the Winter Solstice Music 10th Anniversary Tour. We are excited to offer 8 Winter Solstice Music Concerts this year in a tour\, across Vancouver Island. Since 2010\, vocalist and artistic director Cari Burdett has brought community together in celebration of the Winter Solstice   weaving song\, story\, and heart into an evening of stillness\, reflection\, and renewal. Celebrated across the world in many traditions\, the Winter Solstice honors the darkest nights of the year and the gradual return of the light   a time to pause\, listen\, and reconnect. Featuring Adrian Dolan\, Quin Etheridge Redden\, Scott White\, Adam Dobres\, Cari Burdett and Maeve Iredale\, this special performance offers rich harmonies\, evocative strings\, and music that warms the spirit. Join us for an unforgettable evening honoring the turning of the season and our shared connection through sound. Five percent of all proceeds will be donated to Mischa Lelum\, the new Cowichan Youth Emergency Shelter for youth aged 15 18 who are in crisis or at risk of homelessness. This shelter provides critical\, around-the-clock support to young people in need. As a community member and audience participant\, you are also invited to add on a direct financial contribution to the shelter by selecting an "Add-On" in the ticket section. The full amount of your contribution will go directly to Mischa Lelum\, the Cowichan Youth Emergency Shelter.
