DESCRIPTION:As part of Chamber Week\, the Duncan Cowichan Chamber is pleased to host Morningstar Pinto and Jon Cruz from the Ministry of Jobs\, Economic Recovery and Innovation for a information session on the Province's Business Recovery Grant Program.\n\n\n\nB.C.'s small and medium businesses have been hit hard by COVID-19\, and the B.C. government is enlisting the help of organizations and people like you to help spread the word.\n\n\n\nThe Small and Medium Sized Business Recovery Grant Program provides fully funded grants of up to $30\,000 to B.C. businesses\, along with up to $15\,000 additional funding to eligible tourism-based B.C. businesses.\n\n\n\nThe money can be used for a variety of expenses\, including buying new equipment\, paying for rent\, or investing in new ways of serving their customers like an e-commerce website or delivery options.\n\n\n\nThe grants are available until March 31\, 2021 or until all funding has been allocated.\n\n\n\nThis session will be held on Zoom and is free to attend.  Advance registration is required and Zoom login details will be emailed to participants just prior to the event.
